ACCESS PERMIT
Access to the Port area is via the main gate. Unauthorised entry is forbidden. Be prepared to prove your identity. No visitors are allowed without a access permit allowed by the Port. Call for permission by calling the operator with whom you deal at the port. Only that operator can allow permisson.

Car license number, company, phone number, reason of the visit and visiting period are notifiable. Automatic license plate recognition at the port.
Transport instructions and consignment notes for incoming and outgoing goods can be obtained from the freight office located in the west end of the warehouse 3 between between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm. Drive to the port through the main gate. The gate opens automatically for authorised vehicles with automatic license plate recognition at the port when a vehicle approaches the gate. Port authorisation covers the time between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm. Loading/unloading the trucks is carried out between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm. Consignment notes are presented to the office staff, who will give instructions concerning the assigned unloading or loading berth.
Provisions, spare parts, fuel, etc. to be delivered to a ship are taken direct to the ship according to a previously obtained access pass.
There is a speed limit of 30 km/h in the port area. The railway yard must be crossed to drive to unloading and loading berths. Vehicles must give way to a moving train. For safety reasons, a transport vehicle must not be driven inside the storage building without separate permission.
According to occupational health and safety legislation, drivers must wear a clearly visible safety vest or other garment of safety colour when moving around outside the vehicle in the port area.
