Stevedoring is performed in a conventional manner with hydraulic quay cranes equipped with automatic hoisting devices. There are five cranes in the size category of 65 to 110 tonnes. The stevedoring output of one shift with two cranes is about 4,500 to 5,000 cubic metres of sawn products or tonnes of pulp.

Operators specialising in liquid and dry bulk products also operate at the port of Kaskinen.
